1.1 This standard specifies the basic safety-related requirements for materials, design and calculation, production and installation, inspection and testing, safe operation and maintenance of public pipelines (gas pipelines and heat pipes). 1.2 This standard applies to the following urban gas pipelines and urban thermal pipelines: a) Gas pipelines: public gas pipelines from gas stations such as gate stations, storage and distribution stations, various gas source stations to users or between factories and stations and its ancillary facilities. Ancillary facilities include line valve rooms, pressure regulating stations (including pressure regulating boxes), condensate tanks, etc. See Figure 1 for details. b) Thermal pipelines: steam pipelines, hot water pipelines and their ancillary facilities laid within the town from the heat source outlet demarcation point to the heat user (civilian or industrial) inlet demarcation point, see Figure 2 for details. The design pressure of steam medium is less than or equal to 2.5 MPa, and the design temperature is less than or equal to 350°C; the design pressure of hot water medium is less than or equal to 2.5 MPa, and the design temperature is less than or equal to 200°C. 1.3 This standard does not apply to the following gas pipelines and thermal pipelines: a) Gas pipelines in stations in gas systems (except pressure regulating stations) and thermal pipelines in stations in thermal systems (except thermal stations and heat distribution stations); b) Gas and heat pipelines inside industrial users (divided by factory boundaries); c) Gas pipelines inside commercial and residential users (bounded by user inlet pipe valves) and heat pipes (bounded by heat inlets); d) Inside gas and heat equipment pipeline. Note: This standard applies to the pipeline system. This standard does not apply to the scope of this standard. The gas pipeline between the valve chamber and pressure regulating station (including pressure regulating box) and the gate station included in this standard shall comply with GB/T34275. When laying In urban built-up areas, this standard can be followed.
