- This part of GB 26255 specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and abbreviations, materials, General requirements, performance requirements, test methods, signs and labels, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. This standard applies to steel-plastic conversion pipe fittings whose load-bearing elements are metal parts, and specifies the load-resistance capacity of their ends. This part stipulates that steel-plastic conversion pipe fittings and PE pipes are used together in the gas transmission system, including steel-plastic straight joints, elbows, flanges, three-way steel-plastic conversion pipe fittings, etc., and the joints are permanent or removable. Steel-plastic conversion pipe fittings and metal pipe fittings or pipe fittings assembly can be threaded, flanged or welded.
