- Scope
- This standard specifies the material, design, manufacture, installation, inspection, test, safety protection, heat preservation and anti-corrosion of pipelines with steam, water, flammable, explosive, toxic and corrosive liquids or gases as medium within the boundaries of thermal power plants. basic requirements, etc. Refer to GB/T 20801 for pipelines in which flammable, explosive, toxic and corrosive liquid or gas is the medium. This standard does not apply to the following pipes: a) Boiler body pipes; b) Nuclear power plant pipes; c) Heating, ventilation and air conditioning pipes and non-circular cross-section pipes; d) Various towers, building structures, storage tanks, machinery Piping for equipment and instrumentation. This standard does not cover material requirements for nonmetallic piping. See Figure 1 and Figure 2 for the boundary between the pipes specified in this standard and the pipes within the scope of the boiler body.
