Scope
This part of GB/T 19473 specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and abbreviations, grades of service conditions, materials and hygienic requirements for polybutylene (PB) piping systems for hot and cold water. This part, together with other parts of GB/T 19473, applies to building cold and hot water piping systems, including drinking water and heating piping systems. For information on the connection of polybutylene pipes/fittings for hot and cold water and the connection of polybutylene pipes/fittings to other plastic or non-plastic parts, see other parts of GB/T 19473 and related standard documents.
