- Scope
- This standard specifies the nominal dimensions, nominal pressures, materials, pressure-temperature ratings, flange types and sizes, sealing surfaces, tolerances and markings of large diameter steel pipe flanges (Class Series). This standard applies to large-diameter necked butt-welded steel pipe flanges and flange covers with nominal pressures Class150 (PN20) ~ Class 900 (PN150). The nominal pressure grade of the flange is represented by Class, including the following four grades: Class150, Class300, Class600, and Class900. This standard includes large-diameter steel pipe flanges in two size series, A and B, which must be clearly marked when selected. The nominal size DN and outer diameter of steel pipes applicable to this standard are as specified in Table 1.0.4. This standard also applies to valves, pumps, chemical machinery, pipeline accessories and equipment parts that use flanges as connection forms. This standard does not cover material selection principles for special fluid conditions.
