Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of bellows compensators (also known as bellows expansion joints) for urban heating pipelines. This standard is applicable to the manufacture and inspection of bellows compensators for urban heating pipes with design pressures less than or equal to 2.5MPa and design temperatures less than or equal to 350°C.
