This part of GB 7000 specifies the general requirements for lamps using electric light sources with a power supply voltage not exceeding 1000 V. The requirements and related tests proposed in this section include: classification, marking, mechanical structure and electrical structure. Each chapter of this part should be read together with Chapter 0 and other relevant chapters cited. Other parts of GB 7000 specify the specific requirements for a specific type of luminaire or a group of luminaires with a supply voltage not exceeding 1 000 V. For revision purposes, these sections are published separately, and additional sections are added when required. It should be noted that this section includes all aspects of safety (electrical, thermal and mechanical) requirements. The photometric data of luminaires is considered by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE), so this part does not involve. This standard covers requirements for luminaires with igniters whose nominal impulse voltage peak values do not exceed the values in Table ll.3. These requirements apply to luminaires with ignitors incorporated in the ballast as well as luminaires with ignitors separate from the ballast. Requirements for luminaires with triggers incorporated in the luminaire are under consideration. This section contains requirements for semi-luminaires. In general, this section includes safety requirements for luminaires. The purpose of this part is to provide a set of requirements and tests applicable to most types of lamps, and is referenced by the specific technical requirements of other parts of GB 7000. Therefore, this part itself should not be regarded as a regulation for any type of lamps. The terms of this part are only applicable to specific types of lamps within the scope determined by other parts of GB 7000. When other parts of GB 7000 refer to the requirements of a certain chapter of this part, it stipulates the applicability, test sequence and some necessary additional requirements of this chapter. The serial numbers in this section have no special meaning, and the sequence of applicable clauses is specified in other parts of GB 7000 corresponding to each type of luminaire or a group of luminaires. Other parts of GB 7000 are independent and do not refer to other parts in the series. Other parts of GB 7000 refer to the requirements of a certain chapter of this part. When the sentence "Apply the requirements of Chapter ... in GB 7000.1" appears, it means: Except for the requirements of specific types of lamps that are obviously not applicable to other parts of GB 7000, All requirements of this chapter of this part apply. For explosion-proof lamps covered by IEC 60079, in addition to the requirements of IEC 60079, they must also meet the requirements of relevant parts of GB 7000. When there is a conflict between GB 7000 and IEC 60079, the provisions of IEC 60079 shall be given priority. According to the IEC guidelines, the new IEC standards are divided into safety standards or performance standards. The "lamp design information" in the light source safety standard is given for the safety work of the light source. When testing the lamps according to this part, it should be regarded as a normative appendix. Pay attention to the light source performance standards contained in the "luminaire design information", these requirements should be followed in order to make the light source work normally, but this part does not require the light source performance test as part of the type test approval of the luminaire. The standard contains revisions and modifications based on continual improvement to take account of safety improvements brought about by the state of the art. Regional standardization bodies may state in their derived standards that products complying with the manufacturer's or the standardization body's earlier documentation are covered. It may be required in these declarations that, for such products, these earlier standards may continue to be used in production until the date when the new standard must be used.
