Scope
This standard applies to B15d and B22d bayonet lampholders for connection of bulbs and semi-luminaires to a supply voltage of 250 V. This standard also applies to lampholders integrated with luminaires or for installation inside equipment, but only includes requirements for lampholders. All other requirements, such as protection against electric shock in the terminal area, shall comply with the relevant appliance standard requirements and shall first be installed in a suitable apparatus and, when inspected according to this apparatus’ own standard, be tested at the same time. Lampholders intended for use by luminaire manufacturers shall not be put up for retail sale. Free-standing lampholders not intended for interior installation, such as flush-mounted lampholders, are subject to the additional requirements described in Clause 3. Note: The maximum operating temperature of lampholders used in luminaires is given in GB 7000.1. B15 represents the lamp cap/lampholder coordination system determined by IEC 60061-1, sheet 7004-11 and IEC 6006l-2, sheet 7005-16 and the corresponding gauges. B22 represents the lamp cap/lampholder coordination system determined by IEc 60061-1 sheet 7004-10 and IEC 60061-2 sheet 7005-10 and the corresponding gauges
