Scope: This document applies to B15d and B22d bayonet lampholders for connection of lamps and semi-luminaires to a supply voltage of 250 V. This document also applies to lampholders integrated with luminaires or for installation inside equipment, but only includes requirements for lampholders. For all other requirements, such as protection against electric shock in the terminal area, comply with the standard requirements of the relevant appliance, and first installed in a suitable device, when tested according to the standard of this device itself, it is also tested. Lampholders for use by luminaire manufacturers are not for retail sale. The maximum operating temperature for lampholders used in luminaires is given in IEC 60598 1 . B15d means the sheet 7004 11 of IEC60061 1 and the sheet 7005 of IEC60061 2
