Scope

This part of GB/T 30839 specifies the general requirements for energy consumption classification of three-phase steelmaking electric arc furnaces. Including the energy consumption grading system, energy consumption parameters, energy consumption range, energy consumption parameter classification and index formulation of the electric arc furnace for independent smelting, and the electric arc furnace for smelting with the ladle refining furnace, as well as test methods, etc. This part is applicable to assess the energy consumption level of electric furnace products and the energy consumption status in actual use in the design, manufacture, use and testing of electric arc furnaces, so as to promote the reduction of energy consumption of electric arc furnaces and achieve the purpose of energy saving. This part can be used as a reference for energy consumption grading standards in the electric arc furnace manufacturing process.
