Scope
This part of GB/T 10066 "Test methods for electric heating equipment" is applicable to various industrial electric heating equipment, such as: - direct electric arc furnace; - submerged arc furnace; - induction furnace; - medium frequency and high frequency induction heating devices - radio frequency heating devices and dielectric heating devices; - direct and indirect resistance heating devices; - electroslag remelting furnaces; - infrared heating devices; - microwave heating devices; - electric heating devices with electron guns; - plasma electric heating devices; - laser devices for industrial use. This Part does not apply to electric cooking and electric heating appliances for domestic and similar purposes; nor does it apply to equipment and appliances for domestic and industrial room heating, brazing, welding or other similar purposes, and for agricultural and heating roads, bridges, Electric heating for parking lots or any form of space heating.
