Scope

This document describes the test procedures, test conditions and test methods for determining the main performance parameters and operating characteristics of induction diathermy devices. This document is applicable to induction heating devices whose operating frequency is low frequency, power frequency or medium frequency (up to 100kHz), and which conducts overall or partial heat penetration of metal blanks or workpieces for subsequent hot forming (such as forging, extrusion and rolling, etc.) , it can also be used as a reference for induction heating devices for heat treatment and other purposes, as well as superconducting DC induction diathermy devices.
