Scope
This standard specifies the general test conditions and test methods for various types of electric heating equipment. This standard applies to all kinds of industrial and experimental electric heating equipment (hereinafter referred to as electric heating equipment), including resistance furnaces, induction electric heating equipment, direct electric arc furnaces, submerged arc furnaces, electroslag remelting furnaces, infrared heating furnaces, medium heating equipment, microwave Heating equipment, electric heating equipment with electron gun, plasma electric heating equipment, laser electric heating equipment, etc. This standard does not apply to household and similar electric heating appliances, welding equipment and building heating facilities.
