Scope
This part of GB 10395 specifies the safety requirements and determination methods for the design and manufacture of agricultural and horticultural suspended, semi-mounted, trailed and self-propelled seeders (including combined seeding and fertilizing machines). This section also specifies the type of safe operation information (including residual risks) that the manufacturer should provide. GB 10395.1 should be implemented while implementing this section. When the requirements of this part of GB 10395 are inconsistent with GB 10395.1, this part takes precedence over GB 10395.1. This part of GB 10395 specifies the major hazards (listed in Appendix A), hazardous states and events associated with the use of seeders under the foreseeable conditions of the manufacturer, but does not include the hazards caused by the following situations: -- Electrical equipment is subject to external Effects;--failure of energy supply;--failure or failure of control system;--damage of high-speed rotating parts;--seed (fertilizer) loading equipment. This section does not apply to tillage and seeding combinations with driven tillage components and non-separable (see 3.2). This section does not include environmental hazards and electromagnetic compatibility, nor does it include the risks associated with professional care and maintenance. This section does not apply to planters manufactured before the publication of this document.
