Scope
This part of GB 10395 specifies the safety requirements and determination methods for the design and manufacture of trailed, suspended and self-propelled sugar beet harvesters. It also specifies the type of safe handling information to be provided by the manufacturer. This section applies to sugar beet harvesters that can perform one or more operations such as cutting stems and leaves, digging, picking up, cleaning, conveying and unloading. This section does not apply to piles of sugar beet cleaning loading device. Environmental aspects are not considered in this section.
