- Scope
- This standard applies to the measurement of the baseband--baseband noise performance of the simulated radio relay system for transmitting frequency division multiplexing (fdm) telephones. These measurements are signal dependent. It is a supplement to the items listed in GB4958·9-88 "Measurement Method for Equipment Used in Terrestrial Radio Relay System Part III: Measurement of Simulation System Section 2 Baseband Measurement". The measurements specified in Section 2 are common to telephony, television and sound program transmissions.
