- Scope
- This section presents methods for measuring frequency-modulated electromechanical properties. Also, where possible, only the measurements of the basic modulator are considered, excluding the baseband portion of the modulator—the pre-emphasis network and the networks associated with the sound subcarrier, pilot and auxiliary signals. The measurement method of the frequency demodulator is given in Section V. Measurements between the baseband end-to-end of the modulator and demodulator components are given in the sections of Part III of this series of standards.
