Scope

This part of GB/T 30839 specifies the energy consumption parameters, energy consumption range, division of unit power consumption level and its indicators and measurement methods for intermediate frequency centerless induction furnaces (hereinafter referred to as intermediate frequency centerless furnaces). This part is applicable to the centerless steel, copper and its alloys and aluminum smelting centerless furnaces with working frequency higher than power frequency of 50 Hz, lower than or equal to 1 000 Hz, rated capacity in the range of 1 t to 60 t, powered by intermediate frequency semiconductor frequency conversion device. Induction melting furnaces and iron holding furnaces.
