Scope
Overview The Fieldbus Application Layer (FAL) provides user programs with the means to access the fieldbus communication environment. In this respect, the Fieldbus Application Layer (FAL) can be considered as a "window between the corresponding applications". GB/T 25105 provides general elements and PROFINET IO field bus-specific information for basic time-critical and non-time-strict message communication between applications in an automation environment. The term "strictly timed" is used to indicate that there is a time window within which one or more specified actions are required to be completed with a definite degree of certainty. Failure to complete the specified actions within this time window will result in the risk of failure of the application requesting these actions, and even cause equipment, equipment and possible personal danger. This part of GB/T 25105 defines the externally visible behavior provided by the fieldbus application layer in an abstract way from the following aspects: a) defines the abstract syntax of the application layer protocol data unit transmitted between communication application entities; b) Define the transfer syntax of the application layer protocol data unit transmitted between the communication application entities; c) define the application context state machine of the application service behavior visible between the communication application entities; d) define the communication application entity An application relational state machine for the communication behavior of a view. The purpose of this section is to define a protocol for the following purposes: a) defining the byte transfer order of service primitives defined in PROFINET IO service files; b) defining externally visible behavior related to their transfer. This part specifies the PROFINET IO field bus application layer protocol based on the OSI basic reference model (see GB/T 9387) and the OSI application layer structure (GB/T 17176). The primary goal of this part of the specification is to fix the syntax and behavior of the application-layer protocol that conveys the application-layer services defined in PROFINET IO. The second goal is to provide an upgrade path to existing industrial communication protocols. It was this goal that resulted in the IEC 6115
