Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for fieldbus components. It also specifies requirements for media and network configuration to ensure compliance with the following levels: a) data integrity prior to data link layer error checking; b) interoperability between physical layer devices. The physical layer of the field bus line conforms to the first layer of the OSI 7-layer model defined in GB/T 9387, but there are exceptions, such as some types of frame delimiters in the physical layer, while other types of frame delimiters in the data link road layer.
