Scope

This standard specifies the general safety principles, safety devices and specific requirements for protective equipment for compressors used in process processes. This standard applies to all types of process compressors, including centrifugal, axial flow, reciprocating and rotary, and their ancillary equipment, including drivers, intercoolers, buffers, separators or purifiers, intermediate connecting pipelines and lubricating and sealing oils. and water cooling systems, etc. This standard does not apply to: a) air compressors specified in GB 22207-2008 "Safety Requirements for Positive Displacement Air Compressors"; b) basic mechanical design of compressor parts; c) design and operation of compressor-related process equipment.
