Scope
This part of GB/T specifies the method for on-site measurement of the impact sound isolation performance of building floors with standard impactors. This method is applicable to the measurement of the bare slab and also to the lateral measurement of the slab of the cladding layer. The measurements can be used to compare the impact sound insulation performance of slabs and to compare the apparent impact sound insulation with specified requirements. Note 1: The laboratory measurement of floor impact sound insulation shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 19880.6. Note 2: The laboratory measurement of the impact sound improvement of the cladding layer of the heavy standard floor shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 19880.8.
