Scope: This part of GB/T 19889 specifies a method for measuring the acoustic performance of floor surfaces used to reduce impact noise transmission. The purpose of this standard is to establish a method for determining the impact sound improvement of floor cladding under standard test conditions. This test method is limited to the physical measurement method using an artificial sound source (standard impactor) as a noise source under specified laboratory conditions, and does not involve the subjective meaning of the measurement results. This section is applicable to the measurement of various single-layer or multi-layer floor surface materials covered on standard floors. For multi-layer materials, it can be either prefabricated at the factory or assembled at the test site. This measurement method is only applicable to laboratory measurement, and does not involve any terms of on-site effect evaluation of floor cladding.
