This Standard specifies the general safety requirements for earth-moving machinery defined in JIS A8308-2003, which is common to two or more earth-moving machine families. Also this Standard is applicable to attachments and derivated machinery primarily designed to excavate, load, pick-up, transport and distribute, or to grade earth and rock.
