Scope

This standard specifies the guards and other protection installed on earth-moving machines to protect people from mechanical, fluid, and thermal hazards in connection with the operation and inspection and maintenance of earth-moving machines as specified in JIS A 8308. Define the key terminology of the policy and specify its requirements and characteristics.
