Scope

This International Standard specifies general rules for the design and application of permanently affixed safety signs and hazard pictorial symbols to earthmoving machinery as defined in ISO 6165. This standard outlines the purpose of safety signs and defines basic safety sign formats. Specify the colors to be used for safety signs and provide guidelines for creating each section that makes up one safety sign.
