This standard covers seat standards for all types of seats designed for earthmoving machines as specified in JIS A 8308 and agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery as specified in ISO 3339-0. Specifies the methods and equipment used to determine the location of points (SIPs). This sets the position of the SIP relative to the fixed point of the seat. The SIP is determined by the seat itself or is set on the machine as positioning the seat within the driving environment. SIP is seat specific and may be set by the seat manufacturer.
