Scope
The purpose of GB/T 15936 is to facilitate the exchange of documents. In GB/T 15936, documents are regarded as items such as memorandums, letters, checklists, forms and reports, which may include graphic and tabular materials. Content elements used in a file can include graphic characters, geometric graphic elements, and raster graphic elements, all of which can be included in the same file. Note: GB/T 15936 is designed to allow expansion, in order to include printing features, colors, leaflets and additional types such as sound content. GB/T 15936 applies to file exchange through data communication or exchange of storage media. GB/T 15936 provides file exchange for one or both of the following purposes: -- Allows presentation according to the originator's intent; -- Allows processing such as editing and reformatting. In exchange, the composition of a document may be in the following forms: - a formatted form that allows the document to be visualized; - a processable form that allows the document to be processed; - a formatted form that allows the document to be visualized and processed. GB/T 15936 also provides the exchange of the ODA information structure used to process the exchanged files. In addition, GB/T 15936 also allows the exchange of files containing one or more different types of content, such as character text, images, graphics and sounds. The main content of this standard is as follows: --Specify a suitable description file structure (GB/T 15936.2), file outline (GB/T 15936.4) and content architecture (GB/T 15936.6, GB/T 15936.7, GB/T 15936.8 ) Formal description technology of the technical specification; -- Using the above-mentioned formal description technology, give the formal specification of the file structure, file outline and content architecture. The purpose of using the Formal Specification for Open Document Architecture (FODA) is to provide a precise and unambiguous interpretation of the technical specifications in Parts 2, 4, 6, 7, and 8 of GB/T 15936 using formal syntax and formal semantics. FODA can be used as - the basis for realizing GB/T 15936; - a confirmation tool for verifying the consistency system; - the basis for checking the future expansion and revision of GB/T 15936. If a discrepancy is found between the natural language text and the formal specification, the natural language text is considered a valid interpretation of this national standard until the discrepancy is resolved
