Scope

The purpose of GB/T 15936 is to facilitate the exchange of documents. In GB/T 15936, graphic and tabular materials can be included, and documents are considered to be items such as memoranda, letters, invoices, statements and reports. The content elements used in the file can include graphic characters, geometric graphic elements and raster graphic elements, all of which can be included in one file. Note: GB/T 15936 allows expansion, including printing features, colors, reports and other additional content types such as sounds. GB/T 15936 is applicable to the exchange of files exchanged by data communication or storage media. GB/T 15936 provides file exchange for one or both of the following purposes: - Allows the appearance of the originator's intent; - Allows processing such as editing and reformatting. Composition of documents in exchange may take the following forms: - formatted form allowing presentation of documents; - processable form allowing processing of documents; - formatted processable form allowing presentation and processing. GB/T 15936 also specifies the exchange of ODA information structures used to process the exchanged files. In addition, GB/T 15936 also allows the exchange of files containing one or more different types of content such as character text, images, graphics and sounds. This standard defines: -- the raster graphics content architecture that can be used together with the file architecture defined in GB/T 15936.2; -- the internal structure of the content part constructed according to the raster graphics content architecture; -- applicable to basic layout objects Relevant aspects of the positioning and imaging of raster graphic content presentation; --Content layout processing, which together with the file layout processing defined in GB/T 15936.2 specifies the method for determining the basic layout object size for raster graphics content parts; --Available Properties of presentation and content parts based on raster graphics content architecture
