GB/T 3836.25-2019 Explosive atmospheres—Part 25:Requirements for process sealing between flammable process fluids and electrical systems (English Version)
If the process seal between the flammable process fluid and the electrical system fails, the process fluid can flow directly into the field wiring system. This part of Explosive Atmospheres sets out specific requirements for process seals between flammable process fluids and electrical systems. This section specifies the evaluation, manufacturing and testing requirements for single process sealing equipment, dual process sealing equipment and additional secondary process seals. The requirements of this section do not apply to conduit sealing devices, wire introduction devices and other wiring sealing methods involved in the GB/TI3836 series or other standards. This section does not cover basic electrical safety and explosion protection performance requirements, but may also apply to these devices. This section does not address the impact of leaks on the environment.
