Scope
This document specifies the requirements for the construction, testing and marking of electrical equipment protected by type "n" in explosive gas atmospheres of class II. "nR" Restricted breathing enclosure. This document applies to electrical equipment whose rated input voltage does not exceed 15kV AC RMS or DC, and the internal working voltage of Ex products can exceed 15kV, such as starters for HID lamps. This document is a supplement and modification to the general requirements of GB/T 3836.1, as shown in Table 1. When there is a conflict between the requirements of this document and the requirements of GB/T 3836.1, the requirements of this document take precedence.
