This document defines the set of UML extensions. Essentially, this document defines how to use UML to create models that conform to the ISO 20022 metamodel, as defined in ISO 20022 1. Accordingly, it defines concrete grammars based on UML metamodels, and it does not exclude other concrete grammars of metamodels, such as textual concrete grammars. The extension set defines how to use UML to represent each scope level element (first level), business level element (second level) and message level element (third level) of the meta-model, as well as the meta-model elements across each level. The extension set covers all metamodel packages except for the following parts: — ISO20022∷Metamodel::Concept Layer::Message Transport (ISO20022∷Me t amode l∷Conc ep t ua lLeve l∷Me ss ageT anspo rt ); ———ISO20022∷Metamodel∷Logical Layer∷Reverse (ISO20022∷Metamode l∷Logica lLeve l∷Reve rsing); Me t amode l∷Log ica lToPhys ica lTransformation); ——ISO20022∷Metamodel∷Physical Layer (ISO20022∷Me t amode l∷Phys ica lLevel l). The extension set also covers the ISO20022::TypeLi br ary package, the metamodel depends on this package to a certain extent. This section applies only when using UML.
