Scope: This standard specifies the types of protection, environmental conditions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, and storage of mechanical products used in industrial corrosive environments (hereinafter referred to as products). This standard applies to general-purpose mechanical industrial products used under the environmental conditions specified in GB/T14092.5 "Environmental Conditions and Industrial Corrosion of Mechanical Products". Product categories include internal combustion engines, construction machinery, heavy machinery, lifting and transportation machinery, petrochemical general machinery, electrical products, instruments and meters, machine tools, general parts and components, etc. This standard does not apply to products used in environments with explosive media and special environmental conditions such as oceans, ships, mines, and nuclear radiation.
