This standard specifies the weather protection types, environmental conditions for use, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and protection requirements for mechanical products used in hot and humid environments. If there are no provisions and explanations in this standard, the relevant professional standards of the product shall be followed. This standard applies to general-purpose mechanical products used in the "hot and humid" climate zone specified in GB4797.1 "Natural Environmental Conditions Temperature and Humidity of Electrical and Electronic Products". Product categories include agricultural machinery, internal combustion engines, construction machinery, mining machinery, heavy machinery, lifting and transportation machinery, petrochemical general machinery, electrical products, instruments and meters, machine tools, general parts and components, etc. For products used in places where the local climatic conditions meet the requirements of this standard, the technical requirements of this standard are also applicable. Note: Mechanical products used in "sub-humid and hot" regions can specify their environmental technical requirements in the basic product standards. This standard does not apply to products used in hot and humid areas where there are chemically corrosive media, explosive hazardous media, and special environmental conditions such as oceans, ships, and mines.
