- Scope
- This part specifies the reference test method (RTM) and alternative test method (ATM) for single-mode optical fiber polarization mode dispersion (PMD), and specifies unified requirements for test equipment, injection conditions, measurement procedures, calculation methods and results. This section is applicable to the inspection of PMD characteristics of Class B uncabled and cabled single-mode optical fibers specified in GB/T 9771.
