Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacturing, inspection and acceptance of metal horizontal containers (hereinafter referred to as containers). 1.2 Design pressure to which this standard applies 1.2.1 The design pressure of steel vessels shall not exceed 35MPa. 1.2.2 Containers made of other metal materials shall comply with the provis ons of corresponding quoted standards. 1.3 Design temperature range applicable to this standard 1.3.1 Design temperature range: ——269℃~900℃. 1.3.2 The design temperature of the container is determined according to the allowable use temperature of the materials lis ed in the corresponding referenced standards of this standard. 1.4 Structural forms applicable to this standard 1.4.1 Horizontal vessels supported by double saddles that bear uniform loads and additional loads. 1.4.2 Horizontal vessels supported by symmetrically arranged three saddles that bear uniformly dis ributed loads. 1.4.3 The structural form and scope of application of containers of specific structures as well as containers made of aluminum, titanium, copper, nickel, nickel alloys, and zirconium within the scope of application of this standard should also meet the corresponding requirements of the following standards: a) JB/T 4734 "Aluminum Welded Vessels"; b) JB/T 4745 "Titanium Welded Vessels"; c) JB/T 4755 "Copper Pressure Vessels"; d) JB/T 4756 "Nickel and Nickel Alloy Pressure Vessels"; e ) NB/T 47011 "Zirconium Pressure Vessels". 1.5 Containers to which this standard does not apply 1.5.1 Containers governed by the "Safety Technical Supervis on Regulations for Mobile Pressure Vessels". 1.5.2 Containers in nuclear energy installations that are at ris of failure due to neutron radiation damage. 1.5.3 Containers heated by direct flame. 1.5.4 Glass-lined containers and containers in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry have other national standards or industry standards. 1.5.5 Jacketed vessels. 1.6 Defined scope of the vessel 1.6.1 The connection between the vessel and the external pipeline: a) The grooved end face of the first circumferential joint of the welded connection; b) The first threaded joint end face of the threaded connection; c) The first method of flange connection blue sealing surface; d) the first sealing surface of a special connector or pipe connection. 1.6
