- This part specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture, inspection and acceptance of steel welded atmospheric pressure vessels. The scope of application of this section is Cylindrical vessels: The design pressure is greater than -0.02MPa and less than 0.1MPa, and the design temperature range is determined according to the allowable use temperature of steel; Rectangular vessels: The design pressure is zero, and the design temperature range is determined according to the allowable use temperature of steel. This section does not apply to the following containers: Containers that are directly heated by flames; Containers that are exposed to nuclear radiation; Containers that contain extremely or highly toxic media; Containers that are directly buried underground; Liftable gas cabinets; Containers that are frequently moved; Silo; Vertical cylindrical container with a geometric volume greater than 1000m; Tower container with a height greater than 10m and an aspect ratio greater than 5.
