- 1.1 This part specifies the structural type, series parameter dimensions, allowable load, materials and technical requirements for manufacturing, inspection, acceptance and installation of saddle bearings. 1.2 This section applies to saddle supports for steel horizontal vessels supported by double fulcrums. The structural type and structural dimensions of multi-support horizontal vessel saddle supports can also be used with reference to this standard. 1.3 Design conditions for saddle bearings in this part: a) Design temperature: 200°C; b) Earthquake fortification intensity: 8 degrees (Class II site soil).
