- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. for marine fluorescent lighting fixtures (hereinafter referred to as fixtures). This standard applies to the design, manufacturing and acceptance of marine lighting fixtures with fluorescent lamps as light sources and AC power supply voltages below 250 V (rated frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz).
