Scope
This part of GB/T 18029 specifies the adjustment steps for adjustable wheelchairs before testing according to the requirements of GB/T 18029 series standards. This procedure also gives the method of adjustment to be used when the manufacturer does not specify the adjustment of the wheelchair. This section applies to manual wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs (including electric scooters) used indoors or outdoors. Other parts of GB/T 18029 may have special regulations on the adjustment of wheelchairs. If this is the case, the special provisions of these sections shall take precedence over this section.
