Scope

This part of GB/T 3478 stipulates the calculation of the M value (rod spacing M, inter-rod distance M) and W value (average length of the external spline common normal) of cylindrical spur involute splines with a pressure angle of 45° Formula and limit size table. This section applies to involute splines designed and manufactured according to GB/T 3478.1 with a pressure angle of 45°.
