Scope: This part of GB/T 9978 specifies the test procedures for determining the fire resistance of non-load-bearing vertical division members subject to fire on one side and meeting the conditions of this part. Not suitable for curtain walls (non-load bearing partitions suspended from the lower end of the slab) and glazed (or with doors) partitions. When the structure of untested building elements complies with the conditions specified in the scope of direct application given in this section, the fire resistance performance results of elements that have been subjected to fire resistance tests in accordance with the provisions of this section can be used for similar untested building elements.
