Scope

This Part of GB/T specifies the test procedures for determining the fire resistance of column members. All axial sides of the column are subjected to fire during the fire resistance test. When the actual fire-receiving surfaces are less than four, the corresponding test conditions shall be re-determined. When the structure of untested building components meets the conditions specified in the scope of direct application given in this part, the fire resistance performance results of the components that have been subjected to fire resistance tests in accordance with the provisions of this part can be applied to similar untested building components. Appendix A provides general guidance on this experimental method.
