Scope

The producer must explain to the user the dangers of the product, the safety and protective measures during use, and the user of this part is responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures and ensuring that the product meets the conditions stipulated in the relevant national regulations. This part specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation and safety requirements of industrial acrylonitrile. This section applies to acrylonitrile produced by propylene ammoxidation. The product is mainly used as a raw material for synthetic fibers, plastics, cyanide-containing rubber, acrylic resins, coatings, adhesives and pharmaceuticals. Molecular formula: C₃H₃N Structural formula: CH₂=CH-CN Relative molecular mass: 53.063 (according to the international relative atomic mass in 2005)
