Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of the boiling range of volatile organic liquids. This standard applies to organic liquids (such as hydrocarbons, esters, alcohols, ketones, ethers and similar organic compounds) that have a boiling point of (30-300) °C under normal pressure and are chemically stable during distillation.
