Scope: This standard specifies the method of dispersing pigments and fillers by sand milling. This part should be used in conjunction with the evaluation method described in GB/T 21867, using a certain low-viscosity paint base system. This part should be read together with GB/T 21868.1 2008. This method is limited to abrasives with low to medium viscosity that allow the sanding spheres to move freely. Therefore, the viscosity of the grinding material suitable for this method is higher than the viscosity of the grinding material suitable for the dispersion method specified in GB/T 21868.2-2008.
