Scope

This International Standard specifies a method for determining the outflow time of paints, varnishes and related products, which can be used to control viscosity. This standard specifies four kinds of outflow cups with similar dimensions and outflow apertures of 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm respectively, and their correction methods are given.
