Scope
This part of GB/T 12668 is applicable to general-purpose DC variable-speed drive systems, which include power converters, control equipment and one or more electric motors. Not suitable for traction drives and electric vehicle drives. This section applies to electrical drive systems (PDS) connected to an AC power supply voltage of 1kV and below, 50HZ or 60HZ. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) characteristics are included in IEC 61800-3. This section gives the characteristics of the converter and its relation to the whole DC drive system. At the same time, the performance requirements of the converter rating, normal service conditions, overload conditions, surge withstand capacity, stability, protection, AC power grounding and testing are described. In addition, this standard discusses application guidelines such as control schemes, diagnostics and topology.
