Scope: This part of GB/T 21283 describes the rotary shaft lip seal ring whose sealing element is thermoplastic material. The sealing element is based on thermoplastic material such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and is made with appropriate fit. This part specifies the basic dimensions and tolerances of rotary shaft lip seals, rotary shafts and cavities, as well as dimension identification codes for sealing elements made of thermoplastic materials. This part is applicable to rotary shaft lip seals with thermoplastic materials (hereinafter referred to Sealing ring) Note: GB/T 21283 and GB/T 13871 complement each other, and GB/T 13871 specifies elastomeric sealing rings.
