Scope: This part of GB/T 21283 describes the rotary shaft lip seal ring whose sealing element is thermoplastic material. The sealing element is based on thermoplastic material such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and is made with appropriate fit. This part of ISO 10000 specifies guidelines for use in the storage, handling and installation of rotary shaft lip seals whose sealing elements are thermoplastic materials. Indicates the hazards involved and how to avoid them. This section applies to rotary shaft lip seals (hereinafter referred to as seals) whose sealing elements are made of thermoplastic materials.
